| Located in a beautiful White Mountain village in the Serrania de Ronda, this rural hotel is situated in the centre of a lovely village. It offers a calm, cosy atmosphere in each of its five large and comfortable rooms and with spectacular views all the way to Gibraltar and the mountains in distant Morocco. At the turn of the century the hotel had already acquired a good reputation. Continuing the tradition, the current owners have restored the building as a delicate decoration project, thus making it into a convivial and comfortable village hotel. The five large rooms are all situated in the upper level of the house. Colours, furniture, decoration -each of the rooms have its own style. All of them are spacious and comfortable, with private bath in each room, Jacuzzi in four of them and a large shower in the last one. All is equipped with TV with both Spanish and international channels and central heating. From the windows it is possible to see two continents, three countries, the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. You can even enjoy the view over the Strait of Gibraltar from any of the rooms or from the open terrace at the top of the house. The ground floor, an ancient wine press, served for many years to provide wine to the owner family and neighbours. The press has been preserved, and it is now an original frame for the restaurant. Terracotta floors, white-painted walls and the well-preserved wine press system define the style of the dining room, which naturally extends into the patio where the guests can also enjoy a pergola. Periodically, the restaurant is used to exhibit the work of local artists. At the moment, the hotel offers the possibility of lodging in two traditional two bedroom rustic style houses (not included) with the same spectacular views. One of them includes a refreshing small plunge pool. Freehold price: 1,920,000 Euros. |
